We have been experiencing the worst weather in June for years. I am currently in Edinburgh, but Anna-Lee our au pair has not been able to get back to the house today after dropping the kids off at school this morning! I think the house is ok, but the Dogditch Brook has burst it's banks and flooded 20 metres of road. There is more rain expected. In fact another 30mm over the next 24 hrs! Anna Lee and the kids are all at a friends in town, warm and dry. I will post photos if I can.
Updated: Photos - I feel sad for the people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire who have had a terrible time.
This is a bridge at the bottom of Corve Street which collapsed last night.

oiy! stay dry. all the best.

Thanks Carmen.
We all managed to get home last night and the house is fine. Big thank you to Penny and Richard!

Thanks for the photos. We live in Melbourne, Australia and my wife is from Ludlow so did a search when we heard it on the news over here. Hope the worst is over.
